Description

As a museum for modern and contemporary art with an extensive collection of works by Austrian and international artists from the 19th century to the present, the Neue Galerie Graz functions as a center for research into recent art history from the 19th century onwards, with special focuses on 20th century art and numerous connections up to the present day.

Barrier-free accessibility

Entrance: Barrier-free access to the foyer via the lift next to the cafe, with tactile guidance system, marked with a pictogram and button. Stele or acoustic buoy for blind people at the Raubergasse entrance.

Inside the building: Visitor center and cloakroom are wheelchair accessible. Induction system available. Wheelchair accessible toilet with Eurokey. An assistant is required for the lift inside.

In exhibitions: Mobile inductive hearing system, sufficient seating. Exhibition rooms are barrier-free, automatic doors, tables can be wheelchair-accessible, display cases are easy to see, high-contrast labels.
