As every year in September, the Healing Arts Week New York Taking place during the UN General Assembly: From September 19-26, artists, creative therapists, cultural and public health leaders, healthcare providers, and educators will convene to discuss and demonstrate the role of art in human well-being and health. The 2026 program includes performances, panel discussions, workshops, and community events in all five boroughs of New York City, providing an inclusive platform to promote the Arts in Health movement.
„Healing Arts New York“ is part of the global campaign by the Jameel Arts & Health Lab in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO). With a focus on equal opportunities, the campaign works worldwide to integrate creative health services into healthcare, education, and community life, and to facilitate access to relevant programs.
