Inclusive Museums 2030 at the MQ

On September 14th, a conference on accessible art and culture for an inclusive society will take place, featuring keynote speeches, impulse sessions, panels, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities. The event is organized by the Austrian Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in cooperation with the MuseumsQuartier Vienna.

Museums have the important task of making social diversity visible – and consistently considering accessibility, inclusion and wellbeing in the process.

With the AccessibleEU Cultural Flagship Event „Inclusive Museums 2030 – Accessible Culture for a Diverse Society,“ the Austrian Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired is addressing precisely these topics. Together with artists, museum experts, and social initiatives, a day will be dedicated to discussing the opportunities and challenges in the field of accessibility and inclusive art education, showcasing best-practice examples, and presenting the latest technological developments and assistive devices.
