Description

The Alpinarium Galtür is a very special exhibition hall and a central part of a 345-meter-long and 19-meter-high avalanche protection wall. Visitors learn interesting facts about life in the high alpine region and the experience and handling of these residents with natural hazards. The memory of the avalanche event of 1999 is deliberately kept alive in a memorial room and a film documentary.
