Description

The Alpinarium Galtür, an exhibition and documentation centre on life in the high alpine region, is a very special kind of experience museum. As a central component of a 345-metre-long and 19-metre-high avalanche protection wall, it also impresses with its architecture, which is unique in Europe. A memorial room is dedicated to the avalanche event of 1999.
