Description
The Architecture Center Vienna shows, collects, discusses and researches how architecture and urban development shape the daily lives of all people. On an area of 2,000m2, the building presents international theme exhibitions as well as a permanent exhibition that provides insights into the most important and comprehensive collection of Austrian architecture of the 20th and 21st centuries. Knowledge is collected and shared in over 500 events a year and in a public architecture library.

Target group-specific tours:
- Barrier-free excursions for blind and visually impaired people to Donau City, Gänsehäufel, Gasometer, Kabelwerk, Karl-Marx-Hof and MuseumsQuartier.
- Touch models, orient yourself using tactile plans, feel different surfaces, obtain background information and experience the atmosphere acoustically. This is what an architectural tour for blind and visually impaired people looks like.
- Barrier-free excursion in simple language "The Vienna Ringstrasse". The aim of this tour is to get to know the city, exchange ideas, overcome barriers and enjoy exploring the architecture of historicism.
