Description

Forchtenstein Castle sits on a rocky outcrop and bears witness to a turbulent, warlike period. Its roots go back to the 13th century, and since the 1620s it has been associated with the name Esterházy. Paul I Esterházy expanded the castle into the baroque high castle that invites you on a journey into history.
