Description

Forchtenstein Castle, perched atop a rocky cone, bears witness to a turbulent, warlike era. Its roots date back to the 13th century, and since the 1620s, it has been associated with the Esterházy family. Paul I Esterházy expanded the castle into the Baroque high palace that invites you on a journey into history.
