Description

On the night of May 8-9, 1945, the Soviet General Dmitri Dritschkin and the American General Stanley Reinhart met in Erlauf and celebrated the armistice that came into effect at 00:01. The "Erlauf Remembers" museum has been created as a living place of remembrance culture. Temporary exhibitions and installations also provide artistic exploration of the topic.
