Description

As a reminder of peace in Europe, the museum documents the front from the Ortler to the Isonzo from 1915 to 1918. The museum illustrates the history of the First World War through the fate of ordinary soldiers and the civilian population on both sides. The senselessness of the war is demonstrated with numerous documents, historical photos, finds and exhibits as well as a reconstruction of Alpine positions.
