Description

The Upper Austrian Literature Museum is located in the former living quarters of Adalbert Stifter (1805-1868), whose life and work can be experienced here through original furniture, paintings and autographs. The permanent exhibition provides a cross-section of Upper Austrian literary history from 800 AD to the 20th century with works, realia and photographs by around 30 authors, including Thomas Bernhard.
