Description

In the largest museum in the Salzburg region, over 100 original buildings from rural history await their guests. A well-maintained network of paths over seven kilometers long leads through the extensive grounds, which can also be explored on the museum train. Other highlights: (interactive) permanent exhibitions, adventure playground, natural Kneipp facility, historic museum guest house with garden.

Barrier-free accessibility

Entrance: From the asphalted car park, a gently sloping, finely gravelled path leads to the entrance building of the Salzburg Open Air Museum. This path is easily accessible with wheelchairs and other walking aids.

Inside the building: Induction loop at reception/cash desk, barrier-free access to the museum railway (always in the last carriage), ramps at individual buildings (more and more), barrier-free toilet facilities, wheelchair-accessible tables at the snack areas
