Description
Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt is one of Austria's most beautiful Baroque palaces and offers impressive insights into the once glamorous life at the court of the Esterházy princes. The Haydn Hall's excellent acoustics make it a venue for concerts. Festivals and splendid exhibitions are also held here.
Physical accessibility
Entrance: Due to the historical nature of the building, only partially accessible. Inside the building: Despite historically-related structural limitations, Esterházy Palace is largely accessible. The "Haydn Explosive" exhibition is accessible on the ground floor. The "Highlights of Esterházy Palace" exhibition, featuring the world-famous Haydn Hall on the first floor, can be easily visited, but requires some organizational effort.
