Description

The permanent exhibition on the history of the city is designed for adults and children alike and was co-designed by the latter. Each panel therefore contains a text in children's or simple language, illustrated with children's drawings. Play stations complement this exhibition concept. The changing special exhibitions deal with topics related to the art, history or culture of the city of Klosterneuburg.

Barrier-free accessibility

Entrance: barrier-free

Inside the building: Permanent exhibition in the basement area accessible by elevator, disabled toilet available; a small exhibition area is not barrier-free, but largely visible; disabled parking available

In exhibitions: Floor: parquet, tiles (partly natural stone), rubber

How content is conveyed

in Easy Language: The permanent exhibition on the history of the town of Klosterneuburg was co-designed “by children for children”. Therefore, there is also an easier-to-understand text version on all text panels (level approx. 3rd to 4th grade elementary school)
