Description
What is it like today? How has it become? The Folklore Museum has been housed in the former Capuchin monastery in Graz's Paulustorgasse since 1913. It has a unique collection, mainly from the pre-industrial era. More than 40,000 objects document the material and spiritual folk culture of Styria. Originally focused on rural society before the world wars, the museum's attention is now directed towards life in a globalized world that redefines its roots from cultural relics.
