Thirteen projects from Europe, North America, and South America have made the shortlist.<br>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#039;s #ZeroCall26 focuses on three topics: Accessibility, IT Solutions, and Crisis &amp; Disaster Management. A total of 586 nominations were submitted from 93 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the context of accessibility, 48 initiatives from the arts sector were nominated. They were evaluated in a separate selection process led by Isabella Essl, Head of Zero Project Inclusive Arts, with the involvement of the international Zero Project Inclusive Arts community. The main criteria were innovation, impact, and scalability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The shortlist of 13 inclusive art initiatives includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Austria: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wienmuseum.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vienna Museum<\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canon-europe.com\/view\/unsee-the-world\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Canon EMEA<\/a>\/Canon Austria | <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ohrenschmaus.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A feast for the ears<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brazil: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motiva.com.br\/instituto\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Motiva Institute &amp; Escola de Gente<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chile: <a href=\"https:\/\/antilen.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Corporaci\u00f3n Antil\u00e9n<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ireland: Suisha Inclusive Arts \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horizonscork.ie\/what-we-do\/arts-and-creative-arts-therapies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Horizons<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Netherlands: <a href=\"https:\/\/sencity.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stichting Possibilize<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Norway: The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dissimilis.no\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dissimilis Music Festival<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poland: <a href=\"https:\/\/ckzamek.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ZAMEK<\/a> Culture Centre in Pozna\u0144 <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spain: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espurna.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Espurna Foundation<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sweden: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skanesdansteater.se\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sk\u00e5nes Dansteater<\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>United Kingdom: <a href=\"https:\/\/layersofvision.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Layers of Vision<\/a> by Royal Holloway University of London, King&#039;s College London, Shape Arts, Lancaster Business School <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>USA: <a href=\"https:\/\/omniumcircus.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Omnium Circus<\/a> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All projects that made it onto the #ZeroCall26 shortlist will receive an invitation to the Zero Project Conference 2026 (February 18\u201320) at the UNO City in Vienna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An International Arts Experts Panel of 18 experts from the arts, culture, and inclusion sectors\u2014including representatives from Uganda, Japan, India, Europe, and North and South America\u2014will make the final selection of the &quot;Zero Project Arts Awardees.&quot; The winners will be announced on December 3, 2025, International Day of Persons with Disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The diversity and regional distribution of these 13 inclusive art initiatives demonstrates that inclusion in art is a global movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More information can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/zeroproject.org\/news\/article\/the-zero-project-awards-2026-shortlist\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> on the Zero Project website under news and #ZeroCall26 Shortlist (at the bottom)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the Zero Project Call for Nominations 2026 (#ZeroCall26), inclusive art initiatives are being recognized for the first time as a separate category.
