Elfi was ten years old when she, along with 66 other residents of the St. Josef Institute in Mils, Tyrol, was taken to the Hartheim killing center and murdered there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The victims of Nazi medical crimes remain on the margins of public memory to this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wieser breaks through the silence and oblivion, collaborating with historians, chroniclers, and family members to explore the gaps in the memory of these individuals. This resulted in an artistic installation of 67 embroidered photographs. Colorful embroidered flowers and names anchor the victims to their birthplaces and to the culture of remembrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the exhibition <em>Embroidered<\/em> This audio and tactile tour focuses on the topic of Nazi medical crimes.
