It was specifically designed for blind and visually impaired people. All exhibits are explicitly meant to be explored by touch, whether in the permanent collection or in special exhibitions.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7 &nbsp;<strong>Tactile models:<\/strong> Detailed replicas of national and international monuments (e.g., Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, or the Sagrada Familia).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7 &nbsp;<strong>Artworks:<\/strong> Paintings, sculptures and textile art created by blind or visually impaired artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00b7 &nbsp;<strong>Typhological material:<\/strong> Historical aids, instruments and documents that were used in the history of blind education and communication (e.g. Braille typewriters).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exhibition rooms offer orientation aids such as beepcons (acoustic orientation signals), haptic maps and information in Braille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Admission is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Address and opening hours:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Calle La Coru\u00f1a 18, 28020 Madrid<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tuesday to Friday 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saturday: 10:00 to 14:00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Closed on Sundays, Mondays and public holidays<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attention: The museum will also be closed for the entire month of August!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further information <a href=\"https:\/\/museo.once.es\/otras-webs\/english\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wer nach Madrid reist, muss das Museo Tiflol\u00f3gico besuchen, ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, auch f\u00fcr Menschen ohne Behinderung. \u00a0Es wurde speziell f\u00fcr blinde und sehbehinderte Menschen konzipiert.
