Description

From 1940 to 1944, Hartheim Castle housed a Nazi euthanasia center where approximately 30,000 people with disabilities or mental illnesses, concentration camp prisoners unable to work, and forced laborers were murdered. In 2003, the memorial and learning center was opened with the exhibition "The Value of Life."
