Description

In the middle of Hietzing, in a quiet location between residential buildings, there is a two-storey neo-baroque villa in a spacious garden. Gustav Klimt created some of his most important works here from 1911 until his death in 1918 in a ground-floor garden house that he used as a studio. Today, the Klimt Villa is a museum whose aim is also to take a critical look at the history of Gustav Klimt.
