The world's first Museum for Viennese Actionism (WAM) is the result of an initiative by several private collectors.

Geology, archaeology, prehistory and early history, Celtic and Roman culture are presented in the Vienna Woods Museum.

Founded in 1947, the museum has one of the largest and most important collections in the world in the field of skiing and winter sports history, with thousands of objects and an extensive specialist library.

On 1,600m², ZOOM offers different areas for children and young people: the hands-on exhibition for 6- to 12-year-olds, the ZOOM Ocean play and experience area for children from 8 months to 6 years, the Atelier workshop areas for 3- to 12-year-olds and the animation studio for children and young people from 8 to 14 years.

Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner is the first woman to climb all fourteen 8000m peaks without bottled oxygen.
