Description
The MuseumsQuartier is home to around 60 cultural institutions, making it one of the world's largest art and culture complexes. It is a barrier-free, consumer-free space with a high quality of stay, standing for sustainability, diversity, and social inclusion. The MQ combines contemporary architecture with historic buildings to a high standard, creating space for artistic performances.
Physical accessibility
- Entrance: Barrier-free access to the area and all facilities, free wheelchairs for hire at the MQ Point at the main entrance
- In the building: Accessible toilet facilities at the MQ main entrance, disabled parking spaces on site, accessible via the entrance at the corner of the Volkstheater
- In exhibitions: All stairs and steps on the premises are marked with signal colors, and handrails are installed in areas with sloping floors.
