Description

The Romans settled in the Vienna area for around 350 years. At its peak, over 30,000 people lived here—a diverse mix of Romans, locals, and immigrants from all parts of the empire. The exhibition focuses on Vindobona's buildings as well as the everyday life of the soldiers and the local population.
