Description

Vienna IX, Berggasse 19. Sigmund Freud lived and worked here for 47 years before he had to flee from the National Socialists in 1938. Today the Sigmund Freud Museum is located here. Three permanent exhibitions in Freud's living and office rooms, an art presentation and special exhibitions convey his multifaceted cultural heritage.

Inside the building: Lift, barrier-free toilets. A small area (stairwell and gallery) is not barrier-free. The information presented there can be viewed on the museum's website and on a tablet in the foyer (available at the ticket office).
