Description

The mumok is one of the largest and most important museums in Europe, which collects and researches art since the modern era and presents it to a broad public interested in art in its exhibitions. The exhibitions include classical modernism, pop art, fluxus, conceptual art, Viennese actionism and contemporary art.

Physical accessibility

Entrance: barrier-free access via lift, left of the main staircase, entrance via two single-leaf doors next to the revolving door (passage width 120 cm each), doorbell to the security center at a height of 1 m

Inside the building: all levels and café with elevator, shop in the entrance area, wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities, mumok lounge and mumok studio

In exhibitions: all exhibition levels and the mumok cinema can be reached by lift (152 x 90 cm), sturdy folding stools and wheelchairs are available for loan, depending on the exhibition, individual seating
